Ingredients
6 eggs
190 g granulated sugar
250 g 00 flour
1 sachet of baking powder
120 g clarified butter
500 mL whipping cream Sterilgarda
110 g powdered sugar
Preparation
  1. Beat 6 eggs together with the sugar until frothy.
  2. Combine the sifted flour, 1 sachet of yeast and the previously melted clarified butter.
  3. Mix until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Place the mixture in a previously floured and buttered pan and bake in the oven at 180°C for approximately 40 minutes.
  5. Allow the base to cool.
  6. In a cold metal bowl add the Sterilgarda Whipping Cream and the icing sugar.
  7. Whip the mixture with an electric whisk using a concentric circle motion.
  8. After cutting the sponge cake base into 3 discs, fill the inside and cover with the cream and icing sugar mixture.
  9. Level with a spatula to obtain a smooth cake.
  10. Decorate as desired with a piping bag.
