Pasta with cream, peas and ham

Ingredients
320 g Penne rigate
200 g ham
250 g Peas
60 g golden onions
250 g cooking cream Sterilgarda
30 g extra virgin olive oil
to taste table salt
Preparation
  1. Place a pan full of lightly salted water on the heat, which will be used to cook the pasta.
  2. Take the cooked ham and cut it first into slices and then into cubes of about 1 cm.
  3. Finely chop the onion and pour it into a pan with a drop of oil.
  4. Let the onion fry for a few minutes over medium heat.
  5. Add the peas and a ladle of the pasta cooking water.
  6. Leave to cook for about 15 minutes on a high heat.
  7. Pour in the cooked ham and sauté everything together for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Add the Sterilgarda cooking cream
  9. Mix and cook over low heat for a couple of minutes.
  10. Meanwhile, cook the pasta and drain it al dente, pouring it directly into the sauce.
  11. Mix everything together to blend the flavors and serve the delicious penne with cream and ham while still hot.
