Fried Ricotta Bites

Ingredients
350 g fresh ricotta cheese Sterilgarda
2 medium eggs
q.b. table salt
q.b. black pepper
q.b. breadcrumbs
q.b. sunflower seed oil
Preparation
  1. Cut the Ricotta Sterilgarda into slices and then into cubes of approximately 3 cm.
  2. Pour the eggs into a bowl, add salt and pepper and beat them with a fork.
  3. In another bowl, pour the breadcrumbs. With one hand, pass the cubes in the egg and with the other in the breadcrumbs.
  4. Transfer the cubes to a tray lined with baking paper.
  5. Heat the oil in a pan that is not too wide. Bring it to 170° and then immerse 4-5 pieces at a time.
  6. Brown them for 1-2 minutes then turn them with a spoon or fork and continue cooking for another 1-2 minutes.
  7. When the cubes are golden, drain them using a slotted spoon and transfer them to a tray lined with absorbent paper.
  8. Continue frying all the others and serve the morsels while still hot.
